Filterbuy air filters
Filterbuy's subscription page says it makes its filters to order in its own US plants, in 600+ standard sizes plus custom sizes cut to the eighth of an inch. Filterbuy says custom-size filters “aren’t eligible for return or refund”, except for manufacturing defects. It sells MERV 8, 11 and 13 and Odor Eliminator filters, in 1, 2, 4 and 5 in depths.
Actual size is cut to ±1/8 in
Filterbuy says each filter “is cut to a tolerance of ±1/8"” and standard sizes can vary slightly. Its actual sizes for three common filters: 16x25x1, 20x25x1 and 16x20x1.
Shipping is free in the continental US
- Free shipping on every order shipped within the continental United States.
- In most cases, Filterbuy says, it delivers within 3-4 business days, from factories around the US.
- Expedited shipping is not available.
Returns and exchanges
- Filterbuy offers a free return or exchange for a defective or flawed filter within 30 days of purchase. Filterbuy asks you to report damage within 30 days of receiving the order.
- Filterbuy offers a free exchange within 90 days for a wrong size or MERV.
- Filterbuy offers a full refund within 90 days for an unopened, unused filter. The buyer pays return shipping, and Filterbuy does not supply boxes.
- Filterbuy says filters bought on Amazon follow Amazon's return process.
Subscriptions deliver on a set schedule
Filterbuy's subscription delivers every 1, 2, 3 or 6 months or once a year. Filterbuy says you can cancel anytime.
